Navigating in Tokyo
While staying in Tokyo, you'll be most of the time on the run for the various classes, or to be able to see as many attractions and cities as you can. For this reason, a traveller must be able to use the train system effectively, as it's really vast and connecting all the Tokyo cities. The train staff is very helpful, as every japanese, and they will assist you with any questions regarding the route you want to take.

An alternative to the train system, is of course city buses. They are really precise in their departure / arrival times, bus stops being present in all train stations, heading to different directions. Departure times are posted next to the bus station, but if you don't speak japanese, you will need help finding your way.

Lastly, there is the option of getting a taxi to reach your destination. Please note that a taxi ride can be quite expensive, especially if you are just one or two people sharing the taxi, so be careful. However, sometimes a taxi is inevitable as not all destinations are easily reachable by bus or train.
